I’ve been working on several books, with the plan of launching in 2025. As a result, there are some new pages here on the site (finally!) and a Kickstarter campaign in preview for the launch of my first book, The Dragon Laird.
This story has one of my favorite combinations – a reclusive warrior whose experiences have convinced him to abandon the world, and an intrepid witch determined to rouse him from his sanctuary, at least long enough for her to get the elixir to save her sister’s life. Of course, they both get far more than that.
This historical fantasy with romantic elements is first of a trilogy, each featuring one of an ancient and powerful brotherhood. It’s not yet clear to me how steamy the books will be, but there will be plenty of secrets and twisty bits. It’s safe to say that no one (and nothing) is as it appears to be.
As mentioned, the Kickstarter campaign is in preview, so you can follow the campaign to be notified when it launches. The book will be available there first, in ebook, trade paperback and a special edition hardcover with enough shiny goodness to earn a place of honour in any dragon’s hoard. The campaign will help to fund all that sparkle, and help with the costs of publishing the book. I’m hoping to launch in June or July 2025.
